Thank you for putting a name to my feelings— I felt the crash out everytime I achieved something, which in my mind, I felt like I was obligated to achieve. For now I'm much too young to have already figured out a purpose, but now I know that this is what I need ❤️ Excellent bit of wisdom as always.

Hey Darius, that’s a great piece. Sort of pieces together the whole point of first sitting yourself down and understanding what matters to you, what you want to achieve over the course of your life and then to plot it down in a series of long-term and short-term goals. The goals can change to accommodate the long-term purpose, but the North Star needs to remain.

I don’t know if you have planned to write some more on this topic - but it’s a great one to think about. Everyone tells you to set goals, almost no one tells you to first think what you want out of life. That way they can always get you to believe what they’re selling is what you really want out of life, and hence worth pursuing as your goals…

I totally agree with you, Darius. Our purpose must be to work to help mankind in our own way. Your writings are an inspiration to me.

Two masters degrees, one as a mental health counselor and you have opened my eyes to what's been missing and what I need to do, the steps I should take in order to truly move forward in my purpose. Thank you Daniel! I wish I had known you a decade ago, so much time would not have been lost.
