I always make sure to read your posts, and they are practical and relevant. There is no reason to obsess over things I can't control anyway, so why even bother? Just do what I can control or influence. Thanks as always, Darius!

One of the most self-empowering as well as comforting post I have read after a long time.

Life is definately as good as 10 years ago. It was awesome then and it is awesome now. Interesting that the meaure you use for what has changed in 10 years is in terms of material possessions.

I am challenged every day by myself and by others. I get to choose my life and live it.

If I dont like it enough, I can change it.

I love life and I love reading thought provoking articles. May they both continue for many years.

I do expect to always look at life differently after reading your posts. I miss the simplicity of the 60's thru the 90's. I am not a fan of all the intrusiveness of unsolicited world wide comments that I get on my phone or computer. AI not a fan...leave us alone and stay out of our lives.

Is the world better or worse? Depends on when you were born. If you had the pleasure to experience the 50's through the present one will notice how detached people have become from being interested in people and creating friendships and deep bonds. Technology has crippled us and it is a thief of father time...thank you for sharing your perspective.

Could not be said better Darius. I ask myself same questions on daily basis and the answers are the same. At the end of the day the only thing we can control is how we react.
