I agree with you Darius. Running after material pursuits in the corporate world for years, a wake up call made me realize the void I had inside and I started writing as I've always wanted to. And I've been writing short stories with my lovely local writers' group since then and it's so fulfilling. Slowly, I'm starting to find my voice in this world I believe✌️❤️

The core message here of quality over quantity, and writing from your authentic self, and writing more honestly... all extends to how you do anything in life, is how you do everything. I love this Jerry McGuire comparison as I have used it many times to explain how & why I started my business 26 years ago, and for me it was more about living on my own terms as an entrepreneur, and giving my clients a world-class service that makes them want for nothing more, and stay clients of mine for the long game. And the older I get, I realize that this desire to work from pure authenticity above all, creates its own ecosystem: a world where I am truly present, and want to be a part of, and by my existence and way of living my life in it, I invite others to live their truth in their own way.

I heart love this so much. ✨🪄

I feel like I’ve succeeded in writing from my heart’s yearnings when I’ve hit publish, butterflies fluttering in my stomach and, then realise I’d not given a single thought to including any buttons (subscribe, share etc) in there! 😄✨

That's why we write!

Solid writing. This is something that a lot of people in X need to read😀 there's constant flexing over there and frantic writing now that there's payouts.

Thanks, Jay. The more people reward flexing, the more people flex!

Yes. It begets a culture of future flexers who want to be mentored by the current flexers.

More than anything, this is about finding and knowing your authentic self. Easy to say, hard to do and a never ending quest once you begin to ask the question. Sadly, most people end their lives without even having the insight to ask the question of themselves. Maybe oblivious abandon is easier on the psyche, although hopelessly shallow.

Hey CD. 100%. Uncovering our authentic self is important. And honest writing helps with that.
