I get it. That’s how most of us started using AI, and then we just kept going. But you can’t properly search a chat box or easily find something you worked on three weeks ago.
You have to remember where everything is, while the AI itself forgets your work the second you close the tab.

I learned this the hard way. A while back, one of my main tools added a 5-hour usage limit, the same cap Claude already had. I had to scramble, move everything over, and rebuild my entire workflow from scratch.
That doesn’t happen to me anymore. I stopped looking for the “right” model (there isn’t one) and built a system that doesn’t depend on any single one.
